Global Success for Ascott Resident Trust (ART)

The APAC and EMEA VAS team has successfully leveraged our global reach to deliver valuation services for our client, Ascott Resident Trust (ART). The assignment included the valuation of 90 properties, comprising 10,500 apartment units in 37 cities across 13 countries in Asia Pacific and Europe. The portfolio was coordinated and managed by the APAC hotels team to provide a single point of contact, while leveraging the expertise in each of the local markets to deliver outstanding value to our clients within very tight timeframes.

Hilton Worldwide Sells Waldorf Astoria to Chinese Insurance Company

Hilton sold the Waldorf Astoria in New York to a Chinese insurance company for $2.0 billion. Several investment banks as well as CBRE Capital Markets, in conjunction with PKF were contacted to make a presentation to a special committee of the Board on our ability to perform this study and because of the depth of our knowledge in the hotel industry, our team was selected to prepare the Fairness Opinion for the Board.

Freddie Mac Small Balance Loan (SBL) Platform

The CBRE Valuation & Advisory group is deeply involved with the Freddie Mac SBL program, including the ability to add the Freddie-preferred 71 Form to the valuation. The program offers a streamlined 60-to-120-day interest rate lock process and a simplified underwriting process, including abbreviated third-party reports provided by our in-house Assessment & Consulting Group.
